507 nanometer is a studio creating kinetic as well as interactive installations and light designs led by Matthias Singer. We work for people who care about shit. We operate in different exciting areas and cover design and concept as well as construction and planning.
Design
We create lighting concepts and immersive environments for contemporary dance, opera, architectural installations, museum exhibitions, and light art installations. Our work bridges performance, space, and atmosphere.
Planning
We provide detailed technical planning for complex lighting installations, from CAD-based design development to the conception of advanced control systems and integration in building automation. Our services also include planning and consulting for tendering and procurement processes. We develop custom light fixtures tailored to the specific requirements of each project, combining technical precision with creative innovation.
Manufacturing
In our workshop, we design and manufacture custom lighting fixtures ranging from initial mock-ups and prototypes to small-scale series production. Our manufacturing process also includes the custom development of LED strips, PCBs, and dedicated firmware tailored to the technical requirements of each project.
